Service Description

Monday-Friday 9am-4pm (noon-1: lunch) Ages: rising 6th - 8th grades Teacher-max student ratio: 10:1 (max enrollment 10 students) $350 In this workshop we will investigate drawing, glass fusing and slumping, printing enamels on glass, and clay slab building. • We'll start with botanical illustration and drawing techniques, with tricks and tips for accurate drawing. Those drawings will be converted to ink drawings, then we'll transfer them to silk-screens, and finally print the images on paper, clothing, and glass. • Students will construct clay stamps to create textures and patterns in clay for slab-built sculptures, plates, or bowls. •••••••••••••••••••••• These art projects are designed to inspire students to explore their own themes in different materials or processes, to see how their ideas expand and grow through experimentation and creative play.
