  • 1087 County Road A

Service Description

In this workshop we will explore accuracy and expressive techniques in ink to draw botanical subjects. We will also focus on how to achieve value and volume through the use of optical grey drawing techniques: cross hatching, linen dots invented marks, etc. Participants can choose to use felt tip pens, liquid ink with steel tip nibs and/or brushes. These works will be finished pieces in paper but they can also be transferred onto screens for the Silk Screen Printing on Glass Workshop and/or the Recycled Glass Cup Workshop with Sandblasted Stencil Design so the their original drawings can be incorporated into a glass piece or sandblasted onto a drinking cup. Instructors: Kristin Thielking and Keven Brunett Ages: All ages welcome (children 7 and younger must be accompanied by an adult who will work with them as a team on each project) Experience: no experience needed; this workshop is designed for folks interested in developing their drawing skills.
